Alright so I became sort of friends with this guy that makes overwatch videos on youtube, i play a ton of overwatch as well so naturally we get along really well, i dont personally know him SUPER well.
when i first met him he had a few hundren subscribers and recently his channel kind of blew up and now hes at about 35,000 and he asked me if i could make an outro song for his videos.
so heres the thing, i do music mainly as a hobby and i also run my own youtube channel, we only have about 28 subscribers but we make some pretty great content (just havent been "discovered" yet i suppose)
i feel that making a trade for promotion and what not instead of him just paying me a bit of money would be better for me and my channel in the long run, im looking to do youtube as a career so this could be GREAT for me.
so what would be the appropriate way to make this deal? i've never had the opportunity to make a deal like this before so i could REALLY use some advice. i sent him a 5sec sample of the track so he shouldnt be able to really use it unless i give him the full thing. hes a great dude so i feel i can trust him to not use it without my full permission (even just the 5sec sample)
