What do you do when running out of space on your VST external drive? If you setup a new bigger external drive with the same name, and than just copy everything over. Could you than just continue without lots of(or any) setup? (with Kontakt-libraries, Omnisphere etc)
And do you backup sample libraries? Or you rather rely on downloads and reinstallations if something should happen, and just backup presets and independent samples?
Thinking of all the work setting it all up again if should lose my drive, I'm very conscious guarding my drives. Like when I'm out I put them in bed under the duvet or something. Not the first place thieves would search for valuables! And backup of my projects I put my disks under the clothes in the wardrobe, and another copy in my parents house.
