Sorry in advance if this is the wrong sub. I have been struggling with how to do live effects on my vocals without getting a crazy amount of feedback. I asked the very talented Robert DeLong, and he told me that to do this, he uses in-ear monitors and a notch filter. I haven't been able to ascertain exactly what a notch filter is, what it would do in order to help with what I'm trying to do, or how to find/make one. Can anyone here explain this to me? Thanks
