Heyo, I'm just learning about music production and getting deeper into it. need me some better gear at this point and trying to decide where to start.
The sound on my laptop sucks in general, like really sucks. With volume all cranked up and my run of the mill headphones it still sucks. can't hear any bass or anything really with0out straining and being in a quiet room.
I was looking at getting some ATH M50x headphones which apparently have a flat EQ and can handle the bass more but I'm wondering if the actual volume my laptop puts out is the issue.
Not sure if I should look at changing or upgrading the sound card or just get a laptop with a fatter sound card OR will better studio quality headphones help me out and boost the volume?
The volume is just sooooooo low I can hardly hear it cranked to 100 on my bad headphones now so I don't want to get nicer headphones thinking that'll fix it when in reality my laptop needs to be better.
can ya'll help me out here?
