Just wondering if you guys have any tips on this. I'm almost finished on a track, but in listening back to it, the kick is quite hidden in the drop.
The track is a future bounce track, so naturally it contains a lot of bass, but I also need the kick to stand out in the mix.
How would you guys go about this? It needs to sit on top of the mix and sound nice and punchy, but trying to achieve this without the bass and kick drum fighting with each other in the low end is difficult. Any tips would be a huge help!
