Hey, I have a pretty simple 2009 Toshiba Sattelite laptop and I run Ableton live 9 suite. I used to not have projects crash ever but now on mid sized projects it keeps crashing and running terribly slow when it doesn't. Serum absolutely fucks my computer. Massive I never have a problem with, usually.
I have a few questions:
1) Could it be the number of plugins I have added over time?
2) What simple things can I delete or add to make it run faster (im looking into getting a new computer soon so I dont mean like soundcards, just some things to get my computer running faster in the meantime).
3) Is it possible my computer is just on its last legs?
4) Am I even asking the right questions?
5) I have deleted a ton of files already but it still doesnt seem to make a huge difference.
I'd really appreciate any help! I'm sure some of you know how frustrating it can be having an idea in your head but having to wait a 5-10+ minutes to get it down in your DAW. Thanks
