I currently get a lot of use out of the Maschine when writing a song (both software and hardware). When writing I really just rely on the Maschine and a Novation Launchkey 49.
I know the Jam and the Circuit are 2 totally different things that perform totally different tasks. I have played around with the Circuit a little bit at Guitar Center and it was really fun and I am sure I barely scratched the surface as far as what it is capable of.
I have not had the opportunity to play with the Maschine Jam yet but have watched a lot of videos of it being used and it looks awesome.
I really like what both of them do but can not seem to decide on which of the two I want more.
I recently went through some really rough times (friends passing away, losing my job, having gear stolen, and more). I am happy to say that I just found a new job and it is something I am really excited about. Now I have the chance to get caught up on bills and get my gear back, I would like to add something new to my small studio. Those are both in the what I think will be my price range.
If you were me, which would you get?
I am just curious which people would pick?
