To make a hat/snare roll I usually drag in the arpeggiator (Ableton) to the slot in drum machine and set it to 1/64 or something and play with the transpose. But I can't get it to sound exactly like this (first roll comes in around :15 in, I time linked it)
I can't tell if there's panning going on or what but it just gets in your head. Anybody have any good tips on how to get something like this?
