My budget is around $200 - $300 and I'm looking for a device that would be good for recording sounds in the real world. Not just field recordings, but also things like knocking, zippers, jumping, etc.
Also, I will be doing recording usually outside of a studio environment so there won't be a lot of sound reinforcement.
