Been really wanting to begin producing my own music. I mix all of the time and have been messing around on garageband to get familiar with the basics. Just was looking for some advice in the area of where to start with purchasing a new DAW Software. I have a macbook pro 13.3 and am willing to uprade that in the future to either a larger macbook or PC which ever seems to work better.
Most of my research is showing that obviously Ableton is the top choice for most people. A lot has FL studio right there towards the top tho as well as Logic Pro for Mac Users in the general area. Any advice for where to start, previous experiences with these DAWs and what to expect from each would be awesome!
Also kind of interested in the newer one Bitwig since its from the same makers as Ableton but always nervous to stray away from the major names.
I am also starting from scratch only having taught myself through some trial and error and youtube! - This might play a factor as well.
