Hey, folks! I am new here, been producing for some months with your help.
On to my question: as a new artist getting ready to release tracks, would it hurt to have a broad approach to edm and music in general?
For example, I love pop, as well as some dubstep and even some ran (a la lil dicky). I have some songs that resemble what your hear on the radio as well as other stuff that is heavier and you'd only hear in an edm-based club. Would it hurt my chances to reach out to the audience having songs that are so different from each other as a startup artist? Thanks!
