I am a very beginner to playing an instrument, I've been taking a guitar class since August. For the first few months, my teacher only taught us some chords and tablature. But now he has thrown regular notation with all the fancy music notes and stuff and I have no idea how I'm supposed to memorize these and be able to know to play each note just by looking at it.
Any suggestions for easy ways to memorize the notes?
