Hey. Wondering what everyone thinks is more important for DAW/vst performance, the CPU or the audio interface.
Like, what's more important in terms of running lots of big plugins? A fast CPU that is good at multitasking (Intels > AMD I learned..) or a state of the art interface (ie, these new thunderbolt and PCIe interfaces like Clarett and Apollo)?
I'm not just trying to run a lot of microphones at low latency. I want to be able to run heavy loads of plugins at below ~13ms lol..
