Hi everyone,
I'm still new for EDM production. Right now, I'm using Windows system with Cubase with tons of free VSTs to produce music. I seem to get used to it recently. However, I plan to buy a new computer with Mac system. And for Mac, I can get Logic Pro for cheap price and every industrial person around me said it's an industrial standard. I'm thinking about changing from Cubase to Logic. But I'm not sure if I should change DAW. I don't want to repeat learning to use software. And if I don't use Logic. I think I can strict with Windows. So, I have some questions:
1) I usually composing music mainly by playing the MIDI keyboard one by one like playing instrument. Building every part from scratch. Add certain real audio recording sometimes like electric guitars. Never use loop. For workflow like this, what is the benefit if I switch my DAW to Logic ?
2) If I don't use logic, shall I still buy Mac ? (I can save a lot of money by using windows system) I also plan to buy hardware synth too in the future. For mixing, I plan to do it in ProTools.
Thanks, Jinn
