I'm having the issue where I use apply a master limiter and I can get a certain amount of gain reduction and the track still sounds good through my audio interface. And even when I bounce it, as long as I am still listening on my audio interface, the track still sounds good.
However, when I listen to the same file on my computer's built in sound card, I can suddenly hear a lot more limiting artifacts and distortion that I couldn't hear before. I assume this is due to the higher quality DAC in the interface vs the built in card.
Is there any way to prevent this issue, and somehow hear the artifacts on my interface, because constantly exporting and switching to a different system is a really frustrating workflow. Thanks!
