Since I haven´t found anything leading me into the right directionI thought I´d post this question here since its the online producer community with the biggest spectrum of knowledge/plenty of daily activity. I´m trying to figure out the secret behind the way arca processes his drum sounds in particular for weeks now , in particular the science behind the rubbery/wet/bouncy characteristic that all of his drum tracks have , its hard to put in words , it sounds t like the sound has been processed through some sort of 3 dimensional rubber membrane and bounced back into the DAW from there. The closest I could get with my attempts was reached through using the ableton Vocoder in self modulating mode and working from there but even these sounds don´t sound even close to the "twang" that is audible in these tracks . Maybe one of you guys has a clue on how to achieve these rubbery , wet drum sounds , super obsessed with them rn
thanks alot xx
