I was listening to it and realized the bass isn't progressing like we know from Most Pop Songs. So what does the bass tell us? To me it sounds like "nice try, but you still failed" in a positive way.
What I mean is that the bass goes G G D D D, E E B B B which is not commonly heard.
Also, does the scale of the song affect the message of the bass if it's the same key progression?
