It's not only a lot faster, but also provides me with portability which was my main intent. I'm using it specifically for that (literally do nothing else on it, not even internet; helps with productivity) but whenever I run FL, there's like a constant ticking sound. It can go on for hours. So while I'm pretty sure the HDD is in good condition, I'm afraid things could maybe go wrong any minute. What do you suggest? Strangely enough, it doesn't happen with Ableton (which I'm not as familiar with).
