I am currently trying to decide which external hard drive to get. Right now I own a G-Drive 3tb thunderbolt drive and it works for me. But its noisy, not portable and possibly nearing the end of its life. I want to get a Glyph drive because i have heard great things about them. I want to be portable but I also want speed. I'm trying to stay under $200. So my two options are the Glyph Blackbox Plus 2tb with USB C. Or the Glyph Studio 2tb. The studio is more powerful but less portable because it requires a power cable. The Blackbox is less powerful but way more portable which I would love.
I store pretty much all of my samples and projects on the drive so will the Blackbox be fast enough so that my samples will load quickly?
I'm just so torn on what to get. I would love your guys' input. Thanks!
