So, this happens in basically every edm song every (obviously not really). Off the top of my head knife party (suffer, siren... etc.) Skrillex (cinema...). If you listen to say Suffer by knife party the "drop" consists of many patches played in sequence. Knife party does an amazing job of sequencing the patches such that the song's serveral basses sound a one continuous morphing patch. I was wondering how they achieve this. Hard work I'm sure but is there something more to it? I feel that they play an 8 bar melody and split said melody into sub sections, give each subsection it's own patch and finally fine tuning to create the perception of one fluid morphing sound. I hope some understands my question and can help me understand how this is acheived. Thanks.
