How does he get them so loud? I know the usual answer is just to compress everything, compress/limit buses, and compress/limit the master, and good mixing.
But I've been producing for a while, and my mixes are pretty clean I think... I got my track to -3dB RMS via multiple layers of compression and limiting on the master, which is definitely squashed - and Audien's song "Something Better" is still WAY louder.
