In the past year, I've constantly been making new tracks without ever finishing any of them. This has started to lead towards a negative mindset daily. Thoughts of giving up this craft that I have been honing for the past 4 years. The reason varies from track to track but it is most common for me to just lose faith in a track after a while as many of you would relate to. So I've been trying to meditate and find out what I can improve whether it be with my mentality approaching music or my workflow. I've seen advice such as "finish the track as fast as possible". I have had a couple of experiences where I finished a track in houses but have never been able to do something of the like for the past year. So, what are some of the things you do (or think) to get yourself to finish a track? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it and I hope this post would help others in the keep going with music!
