Hello everyone,
I am the lead programmer for a piano learning app called Trebella that focuses on teaching piano and reading music. We have been building the application for the last 2 years and recently launched on Kickstarter. While I'd love to have ya'll back us, that is not my primary goal today. I am hoping to get some unadulterated opinions from individuals who are interested in using software to enhance their practice. A couple questions I'd like to hear from you on, if you'll be so gracious:
-
What are your concerns about using software tools for learning?
-
If an app was accelerating your learning, would you be willing to pay a monthly fee for access to it?
-
Does the pitch on our kickstarter speak to you? Why/Why not?
-
If you're a teacher, do you think you would recommend software like ours for your students? If you're on the fence, what features would you like to see to get you and your students on board?
-
Any other thoughts on the subject of software based learning for music? I'd even love to hear from you if you think software based learning is complete crap and never going to work!
Thank you for your time and thoughts.
