I've just finished mixing my new track and began mastering with Izotope Ozone 7. Out of curiosity I've picked one of the mastering presets and played my track. I was really surprised, cause I liked how the song sounded with one of the chosen presets... And I think I'm going to leave it the way it is now, cause for real, I'm impressed with the result.
Is using presets for mastering cool with you guys? Any contraindications why one shouldn't use them? Or is it one of the "if it sounds good, it is good" things?
