Hello everyone. Im planning on building/replicating these diffuser absorber from Vicoustic https://www.vicoustic.com/product/flexi-wave-120-15 I'm up to the challenge to build these panels but i need some opinions on if rockwool is the right material to use, maybe you think the type of wood is not correct. The materials they use for absorption is Polyurethane Foam. I was thinking i could switch that out for rockwool since its cheap and i dont have to deal with mixing two chemicals. My plan is to get the wood, cut it to the correct length, bend it, then cut the rockwool (with mask and gloves of course) into the shape of the panel. Once i have everyones ideas and i build the panels i will post a full guide and review of what happened during my process. I will also be creating a template of the curve of the panels. This is meant to be a discussion to create a great panel so i can provide a guide with all the information i have so you can build it yourself. Dimensions of each panel (Inches)
Dimensions of each panel (Inches)
