So I know there's been endless talk about this in this forum and I've participated in some of it. However, I recently spent a lot of time analyzing tracks from big artists (Marshmello, Skrillex, Diplo, Louis the child) just to name a few. All of these tracks seem to be in the -5 to -7 Lufs range. However a lot of forums are arguing that -9 lufs is already too loud. In my own mixes I like the way it sounds at -6 lufs as long as I can maintain dynamic range and nice punchy drums. I would love to hear some thoughts on personal preference :)
