I've had 2 violin teachers so far. The first one got busy with college and had to stop lessons with me after 4-5 months. I only took four lessons with my current teacher but I won't be able to keep paying her so I'll be on my own.
I've worked through Laoureux's "A Practical Method For The Violin" all the way to the intervals and have been introduced to Suzuki II and Sevcik by my new teacher, also we've been working a lot on my bow hold. I have enough pointers as to how clean technique should be, but I'm not sure if I can keep working on these methods by myself without falling into bad habits.
Any advice from teachers or people who have been in this situation before? Thanks!!
