Good mixes and production are great learning tools, but rarely do I see anyone talking about not so great mixes. Granted, there's no real rules for making music set in stone, but why not learn from someone else's "mistakes"?
Does anyone have examples of what in their opinion is a not so great mix, either by a well known artist, or anyone really, to give some reference of what not to do?
This isn't meant to be a shiftiest, but rather a discussion on what kind of things could be improved in poor mixes to make them better, and to give a reference to the ear to compare some of our own less than great mixes too.
