I've never been using wobble basses that much and I want to get better at them so I'm trying to make a lot of dubstep at the moment. I have some issues though.
First I should show an example I'm aiming for: https://youtu.be/YeaGUfZM5hs?t=3m33s
So you casn either put a LFO on sync or on a hz value and you can even automate the cutoff yourself. The example I showed obviously has wobbles that sync well with the beat so I tried the sync mode but it doesn't sound the same at all. Besides, in the example the wobble speed changes over time while still staying in sync.
I then tried automating it myself but without success since it doesn't sound that smooth as the example but way sharper.
My question basicly is do you guys have any tips and tricks on making wobble basses like this. And when chaning the speed of the wobble do you just calculate the herz value relative to the bpm so you can sync it anyway? (hope I'm clear)
thanks
