This might not be the best place to ask this, but I wanted to see if anybody else had run into the same problem I had before.
I have a MIDI keyboard that I'm trying to get working since I've gotten a new motherboard in my desktop. While my desktop was being fixed up I had my keyboard connected to my ASUS Transformer lap-tablet, and it works just fine. With my desktop however, it won't show up in any midi apps or programs, including FL Studio as well as MIDI-OX. It works perfectly fine in those apps on the laptop though.
I should clarify, it is a MIDI to USB cable. The USB is recognized in the Device Manager as "USB2.0-MIDI" and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times, but I don't think drivers exist. The cable was advertised as "Plug and Play" which worked with my laptop. Last error that has popped up after troubleshooting is "USB Composite Device is an older USB device and might not work with USB 3.0" which is completely wrong. Even when I move it into a different 2.0 slot, which it's already in, it still doesn't work.
Please help, I've never been this frustrated before in my life.
