Hi, I'm quite new to music theory and was wondering if my kick is in the key of G the perfect 5th is D. Should it apply to the whole bass or only part of it? (My bass is separated to low bass & bass, so low bass D & bass D or low bass D & bass G?) And if D is the 5th it mean my track is in the key of D? Thanks :)
