Vocal chops are extremely overused sound in EDM at the moment. However when executed correctly, they can bring a real magic to a track. The only way I know how to do vocal chops is the fruity slicer method, as well as manually selecting parts of a vocal to manipulate. I want to know how to get some of the perfectly crafted vocal chops like in these:

whenever I try chopping vocals, they just sound bad or forced, like in alot of edm songs. How do they do it?
