In 2010 we had Dubstep (Skrillex), then we had Progressive House (Avicii, Swedish House Mafia), then we had Big Room, then we had Melbourne Bounce.
In 2014 we had Deep House, Tropical House (Kygo), Trap and Future House (Tchami, Curbi) taking over the world.
Now we still have these genres, but they are already fading out. PLUS there is Bass House, Future Bass, Future Chill and others.
As you can see, every 2 years or so there is a new sub-genre of electronic music that becomes famous and then all the producers are making that new sound.
What are your predictions for 2017-2018? Which will be the next BIG thing in EDM?
