Hey guys, I was wondering if you have any tips on how to get out of a rut I'm in. I have a moombah song that I've been working on for months and months and haven't made any progess. I would usually just scrap it at this point but I'm so attached to the melody and chords I wrote . I have the percussion and drums laid out for the drop but that's it . I feel so frustrated and stressed because I've never been so stuck or felt to blank about a tune. Should I scrap this song of mine or just push through it until something happens ? I've been trying to find inspiration by listening to other people's work, and it only results in mimicking what I just listened to, which isn't original at all. What do you guys do when you're in a situation like this ?
