I've probably made hundreds of tracks. I used to be able to spew something out in a day and feel good about it.
Then I started spending more time on each track, like making full on productions that could take several weeks to months. The end result was much, much better and I started to feel like my approach was much more "mature".
Now I just can't seem to get anything going because I just think about how long this is gonna fucking take. In order to make something better than I have previously I have to spend the same amount of time or more. I find no joy in making something unpolished and quick. But I also don't want everything to take forever to produce. I'm a hobby producer working too many hours on my hobby so that it feels like work but I'm not getting the reward, and I do understand the reward might not come in many years. But shouldn't it be like, fun at least?
