Hey everyone thanks for the help. I've been trying to get a short kick drum with solid thump solid thump and no gross mids-highs that typically used in electronic music, and have been tearing my hair out in the process. How much of it is eqing and mastering and how much is having a good kick sample to start off with? Should I be creating my kicks in something like massive instead of finding a sample in the first place? Any help is much appreciated
