Hey guys! Last week I posted this thread asking for you guys to send in your tracks. In the past few days I've gotten about 200 songs sent to me!
I personally listened to every track and I’ve already begun writing the content for next week’s track spotlight. The website has now been officially launched so you can expect updates every weekend. You can read the full blog post I wrote here.
I’d like to give shout out to all the songs that will be added to the website:

Feedback
So in the last thread, there were a lot of people raising the question about genres and if I'd be adding more genres in the future. My answer to this is, I'm definitely open to the idea. The nice thing about having a website is that it can be very flexible. Adding in a genre isn't the difficult part, it's gathering all the music to add to the collections and then making sure that genre is maintained & updated frequently.
But yeah, if there's a genre that's new, popular, and I can see it sticking around for more than a year or two, I'd definitely dedicate some time to adding it in. (As of right now, I'm going to focus on trying to get the website some solid viewership :P).
Currently genres like Moombahton, Twerk and D&B, are categorized in "Bass". Tech House and Bass House are categorized in "Future House".
The Collections
Some people messaged me saying they were a bit confused by what I meant when I said "The Collections" and it occurred to me that people weren't finding these pages.
So near the bottom of the genre pages right under the track spotlight, there's a button that says "View The Collection". Before it said "View More" but I've since then edited the button to make it stand out more.
Anyways, when you click it, It'll bring you a page that looks like this.
This is the "Collection" page and each genre has one of these. It's essentially a grid of all the music I've curated and categorized. The grid items will link directly to either the producers Spotify or Soundcloud so that way, any artist that gets linked to on this site will directly benefit from the traffic.
What's Next?
So like I mentioned before, these next few weeks I'm going to focus on promoting the website to build up a solid viewership. You might see a couple Frisson ads here and there on Reddit in the next few weeks depending on if you use AdBlock or not. YouTube and Soundcloud Promotion channels are pretty saturated atm but I think I have something a bit more unique that will stands out and appeal more to EDM lovers due to the fact that it's an actual website rather than a YouTube page.
Hopefully this will turn out well!
TLDR: Frisson has officially launched. Huge thanks to everyone that sent in music!
