I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with creating a progressive house bass that sounds like the ones used often in songs that come out on Trice or Enhanced (I'm not sure how else to describe it). Is it just some sort of distorted saw, or are there some special tricks used to achieve that type of bass? It has a really clean and dominating feel that I like, but am not quite sure how to reproduce. (Here are some examples)
