Hi, I’m new to this sub. I know next to nothing about music and instruments. I’ve always wanted to learn but could never find a suitable teacher. I’ve always had a passion for writing and poetry so, naturally I want to expand this into music. Should I go about learning music theory first before I even attempt at experimenting with an instrument? Or should I just focus one specific topic. I’d like to know as much as I can. Thanks!
