Hello.
I'm a teen that wants to try out new things with the hope of finding a hobby / something I like, and came across music, something I never tried. Since the piano has a nice sound, at least from what I hear from some songs, I thought it'd be a good idea, over a guitar (I'm scared of the coordination needed to handle the strings...).
After a really quick search I came across this 32 key MIDI controller, for about 35$. However, the sidebar of the /r/piano subreddit and some posts constantly say that 88 "weighted keys" (whatever they are) are a must, and those come at huge prices, prices too big for me when I'm not sure if I even like music at all.
So, is this simple keyboard enough for some learning? Is it enough for pleasant tunes or, if I ever get to it, some simple ""songs""? If it isn't then I'l just have to give up, I wouldn't (not that I can) shell out 500$ for something to find out if it's for me or not...
The only experience I ever had with music was the flute and xylophone some years ago on school and I didn't hate them, but wasn't anything great IMO.
Sorry for this tremendous wall of text. And sorry if there are any typos. Thanks for any help!
