I have two power plans on my computer, on one of the power plans I have the max cpu clock speed set to 80% and the other plan has a max clock speed of 100%. The 100% one is for producing.
Here's what happens. I load up multiple super intensive serum patches and play chords. If I am on the 100% plan, my cpu goes to 100% (and above) instantly and the audio is severely distorted/crackles. But if I'm on my 80% plan the cpu only reaches 70% and there are no crackles whatsoever! (this is in ableton). What gives?
