Simply put, I'm finding my tracks are too bright. I make ambient/melodic stuff. If I raise the low end (or lower high), it sounds muddy to me. If I lower the low end, it feels "hollow", and too bright. Is there anyway I can fill out my tracks? I am using a stock 4-band compressor in Logic while mastering--should I put an EQ after that to put more precise tweaks? Do I need to have more mids?
