So I'm starting to think I don't understand the minor mode/scale (whatever you want to call it) at all. I watched a video where a guy led the Fmaj back to the Amin (he's said hes making the track in A minor) but wouldnt the plagal cadence in an A minor progression be D minor cause it's the fourth note in the A minor scale? Or does the minor scale not work like the major, does the minor use the same dominant/subdominant chords as it's relative major? So would a minor progression look like this "a - G - F - a" and the relative major look like "C - G - F - C", or should a minor look like "a - F - d - a"?
