So as far as I can tell, the company formerly known as Lumit Audio has changed their name to SoundBridge after a failed initial launch. I was an early adopter of Lumit, and they had to shut down last January after discovering their software had a fatal bug that was wiping user's hard drives.
Now they've relaunched on Kickstarter, and are attempting to fleece and con a whole new set of users with some clever, dishonest marketing about a "music production school" that is really just a shitty blog curriculum taught by some no-name DJ with zero educational credentials (I've used it).
These are the kinds of campaigns that give Kickstarter a bad name. I wish there was a way to effectively warn prospective backers of how shitty this company is.
