I was taking a class with virtual riot yesterday on music production and mastering and he mentioned a eqing technique developed by scientists which makes the mix sound better and hurt your ear less. It involves lowering the 3.5khz area because that's where the ears are the most sensitive in the sound spectrum. I wanted to ask if anyone here knows about the scientific background ground of this or the name of the eq shape? I can't seem to find i the information other than what virtual Riot explained
