I've had M-Audio's trustworthy and super cheap AV-40's for about 5 years now and I decided I would like to step up my game. I guess I am looking for relatively neutral sounding monitors, which are able to deliver more clarity and bass than my current ones.
I have been eyeing the KRK RP6 RoKit G3's, but gathering from all the comments and reviews they are not exactly neutral sounding. I am going to use the monitors for listening to music, producing, mixing and mastering, so they should not pronounce any particular area too much.
My budget is about 300-400 USD per monitor, but I might be able to be persuaded to put in some more if there's a really good case for a more expensive pair.
Thank you in advance! (And do point me in the right subreddit if I am in the wrong place)
