Really happy I found this sub and I'm hoping this will be a platform to initiate a lot of connections and conversations with likeminded producers. I've recently made the switch to Ableton 9, after spending well over 4 years working in Logic, and within a week of changing to Live, I've discovered countless possibilities that are simply unachievable in my previous DAW. I've been playing with the idea of merging my production into Ableton for years, most of my close producer homies use it, and I recognized its benefits for my style of music, but I fought it for so long because I was cemented in my workflow with Logic. Last Sunday, I felt stuck in my production while working on an upcoming EP, so I decided I would drop a large quantity of LSD and contemplate what was halting my creativity. I stumbled on u/FrequentAudio 's newest project "Dream Recall" listened to it twice all the way through, and was absolutely blown away to say the least. The immaculate level of precision & sound design inspired me to push my production further and I came to the conclusion that only Ableton offered me the capabilities I was looking for. So here I am, a week later, with my EP almost finished, and I'm in an incredibly creative space that has initiated numerous breakthroughs for me in sound design, writing, and arrangement. So I wanted to start being active in this forum to increase the momentum and begin posting tracks and getting feedback from you guys. Any tips, tricks, or tuts for sound design/workflow/writing that have pushed the boundaries for you in Ableton? Would love to hear some of your stories and journeys. Any advice or thoughts for a new Ableton user would be appreciated! Cheers! - Kromuh
