Hey guys, I recently started using buses, and it definitely seems like something that will change my production game for the better. However, I'm still unsure of what I should be using on each bus. So for example, on this remix I'm currently working on, I have 3 main buses: Drums (not in drop), Drums (in drop), Non-Percussive Elements (in drop).
I have transient masters running on the two drum buses for punchiness, but am a little unsure of what else to put / what to put on the non-percussive bus. Sausage fatteners, a little plate reverb, a general EQ to take out sub 20 hi 18k? Also, should I make a bus for the non-percussive elements not in the drop, or is that not really needed?
Any advice would be appreciated!
