Often when I'm in the bus, or train or walking in the park I have a sudden idea for a track or melody that pops into my my head. And most of the time I either don't have my laptop with me or I'm just not able to sit down and quickly sketch out my idea. So I'm looking for a simple DAW for my iPhone to quickly sketch out an idea before I forget it.
It has to have a piano roll, some basic synth sounds (doesn't have to be entirely programmable), and some simple drum/percussion sounds.
Anyone know a good app or has some experience with some?
Now I usually sing the melody and record that, just so I don't forget it. But most of the time it's not just a melody but also some drum sequencing and stuff that's not doable this way.
