When I was growing up and in High-school I wasn't really interested in taking the music class. (This doesn't mean I didn't have, and do things in my personal life that didn't help build a relationship with music) The classes and environments didn't interest me. I spent most of my time taking business/computer-ed classes.
I'm 21 and am planning on to college for music in 2017. I've studied the piano and have and understanding of chords. I have also studied Ableton, and the use of the launchpad, along with the some basic concepts, and songwritting.
Assuming I have no personal experience with music. Where should I start in the learning process. From concepts to songwriting, and to further my use of the piano and drum concepts?
Thank you.
